Inspired by Scotland’s West Highland Railway on which The Jacobite steam train crosses over the magnificent Glenfinnan Viaduct. Down from the Glenfinnan Viaduct at the head of Loch Shiel, stands the Glenfinnan Monument: a tribute to the loyal Jacobites who rallied behind Bonnie Prince Charlie. According to legend, a white rose was picked by Bonnie Prince Charlie and pinned to his blue bonnet. The white cockade (a knotted white ribbon or cloth) became a symbol of allegiance to the Jacobite cause. The arches of the viaduct pattern have a touch of ‘Dementor’ – just for the Harry Potter fans.
